Childbirth Classes
Last night was our first childbirth class. We are going to EIRMC to take the classes and they are on Wednesday nights from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. (yes, right when Lost is on so we have to miss that... so sad!). It was very funny.
The instructor had a "strap on belly" that all of the husbands put on and then tried to do things like tie their shoes or lie down and try to get back up. Just sitting down was hard for a lot of them! Then they took pictures (which I will have to scan and post later!) It was great fun! We also did some touching techniques and talked about why we are so uncomfortable all the time (ummmm.. duh?)!
Anyway, I just wanted to remember the hilarity of Jeremiah in a pregnant belly! :)

Doctor's Appointment
I went to the dr. this morning and I was freaking out about how much I could possibly have gained over the last 2 weeks.... I know, I have a baby growing inside of me.. whatever! So I jump up on the scale and woohoo!! ONLY ONE POUND! So excited!
Everything else is looking good also and I now have weekly appointments with the dr. to make sure that everything continues to look good and see how far I am progressing!
I am so excited to see this baby but I have to tell you that I will actually miss being pregnant. No, not the weight gain, the backaches and hip aches or the constant need to pee.. but I will really miss feeling junior moving around inside of me and knowing that she is safe and sound, right where she is! Not having to worry about feeding or changing her. I will miss it lots. I think that Jeremiah will miss it to although I think that he is even more excited to see her than me because he doesn't get to join in all of the fun stuff like I do. Most of the time when I tell him that she is moving and he comes over and puts his hand on my tummy she stops!! :) I think that is cute also but he probably doesn't! I do think, actually I know, that Jeremiah thinks that the "baby bulge" is very cute also. He is always touching my tummy and when I waddle he thinks that is just the funniest thing ever! I yelled at him at first, but he says that he has been waiting years and years for me to get pregnant and he will enjoy every aspect of this pregnancy that he can to the absolute fullest! So I try not to let his laughing get on my nerves TO MUCH anymore! ;)

Sunday Morning Drama
So Sunday morning Jeremiah had a Stake Priesthood Leadership meeting to go to at 7:00 a.m. He actually went (I was so proud of him!) and then came home and crawled back in bed for a 30 minute nap before 9:00 a.m. church. Of course, he forgot to set his alarm and since I figured he was going to be up and going before me, I did not set my alarm at all. He woke up at 10:00 (luckily we have reverse schedule for church so Sacrament is last) and started freaking out for me to get up and get going for the day so I got up and put breakfast in the oven then started to dawdle about trying to wake up for the day and get in the shower... All of the sudden I smell smoke in the house and you will never guess......
I STARTED THE OVEN ON FIRE!!!!! No, I am not kidding! I am retarded! I was baking a dish called caramel ring and the caramel spilled over into the bottom of the stove and it caught fire! Nearly gave me a heartattack!! I couldn't think of what I was supposed to douse the fire with so I was yelling at Jeremiah... "The house is on fire the house is on fire... What do I do???" Luckily he was a little more cool headed than I was and calmly told me to throw baking soda on it so I did and everything turned out alright.
Of course, that woke me up for the day but by that time, it just wasn't worth it to go to church. Happily, the caramel ring was still yummy to eat and didn't taste smoked or fire-grilled! :)
We then just chilled the rest of the day and watched City of Ember, Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist and Pride & Glory. None of them were good enough for me to ever want to watch again. Then we went over to mom and dad's and hung out with the kids and talked with everyone for a couple of hours.
